Matthew Ellis
Senior Pastor
Matthew Ellis is the Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church, where he leads spiritually, teaches the Bible, and oversees church operations. A lifelong member, he returned in 2020 after serving as a Bible teacher, part-time pastor, and full-time Air Force Reserve chaplain.
Teresa Ellis
Children's Ministry Director
Teresa Ellis is the Children’s Ministry Director, passionate about helping kids build a strong biblical foundation and discover God’s plan for their lives. A longtime member of Grace since 1987, she enjoys crafting, crocheting for her grandchildren, and sharing life with her husband Norm, their three sons, and growing number of grandchildren.
Ben Malm
Youth Ministry Director
Ben Malm is the Youth Ministry Director at Grace, where he’s served for about 10 years. A Northwest native and outdoor enthusiast, he’s married with four children and is known for his playful spirit, making him a natural fit for working with youth.
Heather Malm
Administrative Assistant
Heather Malm, the Administrative Assistant, has been part of Grace nearly her entire life and sees the church as her second family. Married with four children, she devotes her time to ministry, family, and supporting her kids’ activities, both at school and in the community.
Tina Lawson
Treasurer
Tina oversees the church’s financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and regulatory compliance. A lifelong Washingtonian and devoted fixer, she brings a hands-on spirit and a heart for service, having raised her family at Grace and now enjoying life close to her grandchildren and great-grandson.
