Why we believe in Children's Ministry...
Childhood is a time for children and as adults we are responsible for their care, growth, and maturation in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these (Matthew 19:14 NIV)."
Children's Sunday Morning Bible Study
From Preschool to sixth grade we offer age-graded classes. Each class has a caring and trained teacher that encourages children to mature in Lord, family, world, and our community at GBC. Each teacher and Caregiver is background checked with the Washington State Highway Patrol.
Children's Parties
At Christmas and Easter time parties are given for your child to come and do crafts, play games, and learn more about that holiday.
Vacation Bible School - VBS
VBS is a fun-filled week of games, Bible, music, missions, laughter and adventure. Once your child comes to GBC's VBS they will want to be a part of the adventure every year! The last day we have a huge water balloon fight and a special "Parent's Night," with a free dinner for your entire family! For ages 4 years to 5th grade.
Harvest Festival
Each year on Halloween we celebrate our Harvest Festival. GBC's Harvest Festival is a safe and sane answer to Halloween. We have a large room maze and there are game booths with prizes for every child. Each child gets a huge bag of candy to take home.
Boy's and Girl's Camps
For 3rd - 6th grades. The Boy's RA Camp is held each summer at Camp WaRiKi on the Washougal River. The GA Girl's Camp is at the Salmon Falls Bible Camp on the Washougal River. WARNING: Your child may not want to come home!
TeamKID
GBC sponsors TeamKID for five-year-olds through 5th grades on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM. A great time of discipleship and missions training.
Children's Time
On Sunday mornings our Pastor invites all the children to come forward for a special children's time. You never know what Pastor Lee will do. He may draw a cartoon or make a sermon from an object that a child brings in a pillow case.
